Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is suitable for all ages, mobility levels, health and bodies and is ideal for anybody who wishes to gain the benefits from a yoga practice without getting up and down on the mat. A chair yoga class is much like a traditional yoga class but allows everyone to go at a more gentle pace, working with your own physical limitations, a long term health issue or disability, and seniors.I feel so honoured to be able to share these wonderful teachings with a lot of local care homes in and around the Braintree area. It is such a beautiful feeling to be able to see senior bodies moving along to the class. They always end with smile on their face and a sense of achievement and relaxation. Each class more of the residents get involved, and after a few weeks the atmosphere is just wonderful. It has now also become a personal practice which my body really enjoys both to teach and to practice. If you know a care home that would benefit from these classes, please contact me to see if we can spread the joy further.
